If I start an audio only chat, I can both send and receive audio, but again this has to be done before the screwed up a/v chat. Hi I have an old computer with Windows 7 Professional (64 bits) and I bought a Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 but my computer it’s not recognizing the camera and I don’t have the drivers that would make that camera work for Windows 7. I have always benefited form forums like this so I will give back.īought the same camera about a week ago. = form a post I published in Googles gropus = I am going to try running it with only the generic camera driver that Windows ships with and see if that works. I have uninstalled the Logitech-specific drivers for it. I use an Altec Lansen Headset ($40) with regular connectors into a USB adapter, so I can connect it to a USB port. I have used this camera with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11 21H2, so this is hardly a satisfactory response. What Kind of mike do you use? separate mike? or a headset? USB or regular connectors? if USB do you connect it to a HUB or to your PC? Restart your computer with the camera unplugged. Here we go, With webcam plugged in go to device manager, find your camera and uninstall it, tick the box to remove the driver for it. A couple of questions for mine and everyone's benefit. Got my Pro9000 working today without doing anything to the registry. ![]()
